Shown to the left is former astronaut John Grunsfeld explaining the physics of objects in orbit to Katie Olson, granddaughter of member Egon Jaeggin, during the TMA Educaton Foundation's 2011 fundraising gala.
Shown below are several team members on Capitol Hill during the AMBA's Fall Conference, a time for members to meet their Senators and Congressmen to lobby for manufacturing.
One of our highest priorities at Creative Technology Corporation is advocating for an educational system in which America's need for skilled workers is actively addressed and our youth are nurtured with equal opportunities and dignity for careers in manufacturing. Please watch the following video we produced, "Filling The Skills Gap," as featured in Gardner Business Media's Modern Machine Shop magazine September, 2012. This video describes an innovative high school program, known as Cardinal Manufacturing, run as a for-profit business within the High School at Eleva Strum, Wisconsin. Financially self-supporting, this program teaches much more than metalworking.
Schools with successful Industrial Technology programs struggle to provide adequate materials and industry reflective equipment. Illinois' TMA Education Foundation connects industry and schools to help fund equipment and educate tomorrow's tradesmen and women. "Changing Tomorrow" is a moving video to help encourage donations to the TMA's Education Foundation to support those programs.
